Webdesign for Pastry shop - MORI YOSHIDA

Patisserie website creation

MORI YOSHIDA is a patisserie opened in 2013 by Japanese pastry chef Morishu Yoshida near Ambaride in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Yoshida-san is the #1 artisan pastry chef in the spotlight, having twice won the championship of artisan pastry chefs on Tokyo’s TV Champion, and in June 2019 he was crowned winner of the popular show Le Meilleur Patissier on the French channel M6. Pastry chef Yoshida asked us to design and build his pastry website, including site design, photography, coding and SEO.

Full-screen dynamic display of high-impact product photography!

The site was designed, photographed and built as a full-screen portfolio site to simply and dynamically display photos of pastry products, which are the stars of the show. The site was designed and built to showcase the patisserie products simply and dynamically, with a variety of photos taken in the morning, including product shots, portraits of the chef, a view of the store during opening hours, the outside of the store just after sunset, and a playful image of the patisserie on chairs and fireplaces. The website features a fade-in animation that allows you to switch from one photo to another.

Bilingual (French and Japanese) and CMS (Content Management System)

The chef wanted to focus on local customers, Parisians. French was therefore chosen as the base language, and Japanese, his mother tongue, was added as a second language. In addition, a content management system (CMS) was implemented so that the site could be managed and updated quickly and easily, even by people with no specialist knowledge of the web. Customers can modify and replace photos and text themselves from the management screen, reducing operating costs.

Request to create a website for the food and beverage industry, including a website for a patisserie.

We start with an initial meeting, then proceed to build the website by organizing several meetings to share the website’s image with the customer. For customers living in the Paris area, we organize face-to-face interviews and meetings, but for customers living in other regions, we organize online meetings using screen-sharing functions via applications such as Skype, Google Hangout, Zoom and Line. . We welcome inquiries from anyone interested in creating websites for the food and beverage sector, including bakery websites.
