We conducted a photo shoot in Paris for an advertisement for “LE KOOGEI basket bag,” which was created by gathering the “iki” of traditional Okinawan crafts. Since the product targets women of various generations, we asked three beautiful Parisiennes in their 20s, 40s, and 60s to be our models.
1. Advertising photo shoot in the 6th arrondissement of Paris with a Parisienne model in her 20s with charming big blue eyes
The first photo was taken at a hotel in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood on the left bank of Paris, where the model was lying on a bed. The first photo was taken at a hotel in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area on the left bank of Paris.
This is a shot taken in front of a flower shop where I stopped to buy roses for a photo shoot after leaving the hotel. It is a basket bag made in Okinawa, but it matches with the 20s Parisiennes and the streets of Paris, making it very stylish!
I took this photo in front of the fountain at Saint-Sulpice church with a basket bag of pink roses I had just purchased. I thought her big eyes were her charm point, but I also love her cool style with sunglasses!
Did you know that in the alleyway on the way from Saint-Sulpice Church to Luxembourg Park, there is a wall with the poem “Bateau Ivre” (Drunken Boat) by the French poet Arthur Rimbaud painted all over it? The gentle light shining in here and the honey-colored wall are the best match, resulting in a nice photo.
In the Luxembourg Park, where beautiful flowers are planted all year round, I took this photo in the shade of a tree. The background was moderately underexposed, resulting in a photo with good color transfer.
This time, I asked her to sit on a bench and took a shot with a composition that uses the arcing grass zone as a leading line. When shooting with half-backlighting, sunlight beautifully draws the silhouette of the hair, so this is a technique to be aware of when photographing women.
2. Advertising shoot in the 1st arrondissement of Paris with a Parisienne model in her 40s who looks good in jeans
There are many women in Paris who like to wear casual clothes such as blue jeans, but you often see Parisiennes who express their personal style well through the use of shoes and accessories. This Parisienne model in her 40s also cooperated with our photo shoot in a casual jeans style, but her choice of belt and leather shoes are outstanding and match her atmosphere very well, and she is really stylish. Her behavior is elegant and she understands poses that suit herself well, so she can mass produce good photos at a good tempo (laughs).
3. Advertising photo shoot along the Seine River in the 1st arrondissement of Paris with Parisian models in their 40s & 60s
Finally, a Parisienne model in her 60s joined us and we shot this photo from the Pont Neuf bridge in the right bank of the river. This 60-something model is also wearing a casual style in a fashionable Parisian way, and the two of them look like they are having a picnic together, creating a very natural and nice advertising photo!
