Many couples who want to have their bridal photo taken in Paris say they want to have their photo taken with the Eiffel Tower in the background, and the most popular among them is the photo taken here on the grand staircase of Place Trocadéro. The Trocadéro square, which is across the Seine River from the Eiffel Tower on the left bank of the river, is at a reasonable distance from the Eiffel Tower, making it possible to take beautiful photos in a horizontal position. It is also recommended for women wearing long wedding dresses to stand at the top of the stairs, as it makes them look stylish and beautiful!

“Face to face embrace” is a classic wedding photo pose

“Face to face embrace” is a classic wedding photo pose

The “facing each other in a hug” shot, in which you hold the woman under the hips from facing each other and nimbly lift her up, is a classic pose for wedding photography, so be sure to practice and master it in advance! The “facing each other in a cuddle” shot gets a great response on Instagram, and is a pose that is requested by many of our clients.

A powerful solo shot directly in front of the Eiffel Tower

A powerful solo shot directly in front of the Eiffel Tower

The plaza below the grand staircase of Trocadero Square is usually filled with tourists, but if it is early in the morning when there are still few tourists, you may be able to take a powerful solo shot directly in front of the Eiffel Tower, as shown above. On the day of the shoot, it was a little cloudy and the light was low, so I burned a backlight to add the effect of a silhouette around the woman.

By shooting from Champ de Mars Park with the Eiffel Tower rising in the north in the background, on a fine day, you can capture the blue sky in the forward light as in the photo above. In such a refreshing time of year, it is also very fun to photograph a picnic scene like the photo above with champagne, baguettes, and light snacks!

Focus on having fun so you can naturally look attractive

Focus on having fun so you can naturally look attractive

It is very important to look at various photos before the wedding shoot and do image training beforehand, but on the day of the shoot, I think the most important thing is to focus on just having fun and not obsessing over the details. Doing so will naturally produce attractive expressions and will certainly improve the quality of the photos. If the couple can enjoy the atmosphere of a date without worrying too much about the camera, they will surely end up with such wonderful wedding photos!

It is also recommended to change the atmosphere of the wedding photo with small items such as sunglasses to create a fresh date scene! Other small items such as balloons and wedding bouquets can also help to eliminate hand-holding and make posies easier, so please refer to them as well.

The scene of a date along the Seine River is a must-see because it is full of Parisian atmosphere!

The scene of a date along the Seine River is a must-see because it is full of Parisian atmosphere!

If it is before noon, there are not that many people along the Seine River around the Isle de la Cité, so it is a good choice for couples who want to take Parisian-style wedding photos! Don’t be too conscious of the camera during the shoot, just enjoy the feeling of a date with your partner.

A shot with a sense of dynamic movement is also an attractive shot

A shot with a sense of dynamic movement is also an attractive shot

While a crisply posed shot is great, I personally love taking wedding photos with a sense of movement by adding a dance scene, even in the streets of Paris. If there are any poses or movements that you would like to try, please do not hesitate to tell us!

Flowing the dress nicely on the staircase, styled and sexy!

Flowing the dress nicely on the staircase, styled and sexy!

This is what I talked about in (2) above, but I think women in wedding dresses can look more stylish and sexy by having them stand facing backwards on stairs or other slightly elevated places and letting the back of their dresses flow nicely. Even though we say backward, it is possible to adjust the direction of the face so that the profile is shown, or to look at the camera as in the photo above to capture an attractive photo, so I would like to encourage those looking for posies that look stylized to give this a try!
